Subject: Regarding considering placement under TBOP/BCR Scheme in cases where seniors are considered for placement at par with juniors i/r/o SBCO Officials, Maharashtra Circle.
Key Points:
- Reference to letter No. BPPS/MH/TBOP/BCR/placement/2022, dated 10.09.2025.
- The matter was examined in consultation with Maharashtra Circle, which had issued a Memo dated 21/08/2024 to extend the benefit of antedating BCR to 15 retired SBCO officials (UDC cadre) at par with their juniors, based on Postal Directorate's letter No. Q-25/31/2022-PE-I-DOP dated 01.07.2022.
- The Pensioner's Association's request for similar benefits for retired officials from LDC cadre was reviewed. It was concluded that these ex-officials do not fall under the purview of the Directorate's instructions dated 01.07.2022, making them ineligible for the same benefits.
