2. Key Points

• Eligibility: Postal Assistants (PAs) who have completed their probation period.
• Deputation Period: Initial 3 years, extendable by 2 more years (in stages of 1 year each).
• Salary & Allowances: Drawn from Parcel Directorate; service books maintained there.

Exclusions:

• Officials in LSG Cadre or above are not eligible.
• No absorption in Parcel Directorate; lien remains with parent unit.
• No deputation allowance, but HRA/Transport Allowance (as per Delhi 'X' city rates) is admissible.
• Selection: Online interview from a reserve pool of applicants (valid for 1 year).
• Disqualification: Use of political influence violates CCS (Conduct) Rules-1964; leads to rejection.

3. Application Process

Submission: Through proper channel (Divisional Head → CPMG approval).

Deadline: 10/06/2025.

Format: Proforma as per Annexure-A (includes personal, service, and competency details).

Annexure-A Fields:

• Personal details (Name, Employee ID, DOB, Contact).
• Service history (Cadre, Pay Level, Probation Status).
• Qualifications (Educational, Technical, Computer Proficiency).
• Work experience (Parcel branch, Training, Field of Interest).

4. Additional Terms

• Termination: Unsuitable officials may be repatriated without reason.
• Tenure Completion: Parent circle informed in advance for repatriation arrangements.

5. Distribution

• Circulated to all Chief Postmaster Generals (CPMGs) and CEPT, Mysore for India Post website upload.
