The competent authority has ordered the promotion of the following LSG (Accountant) cadre officials in Post Offices to the cadre of HSG II (Accountant) in Post offices for the vacancy year 2025 on regular basis in the Level 6 in Pay Minix as applicable to them as per the existing orders in force. The officials, on promotion to the cadre of HSG II Accountant in Post offices are allotted to the division as mentioned against each and the promotion will take effect from the date of assumption of charge.

1. The promotion of the above mentioned officials will take effect from the date on which the officials actually join the post of HSG II (Accountant) cadre in Post offices after the issue of this memo.
2. Request for re-allotment will not be considered unless the official joins in the promotional post.
3. Officials who are promoted on regular basis are entitled to exercise an option for fixation of pay on promotion under FR 22 (1) a (1) on the date of promotion or on the date of accrual
