Respected Sir/Madam, 

This is regarding deployment of back end changes for performance improvement in SAP. It is requested to ensure that above communication is sent to all PO Users to avoid complaints on non availability of Document number during Window Delivery process for Accountable articles. Email communication sent to Circle IT Teams in this regard. Thanks

SAP System Update Notification

Subject: Backend Changes in DPMS – Window Delivery Process for Accountable Articles

Key Changes Implemented:

Performance Optimization:

• Backend modifications to address frequent slowness/inaccessibility in SAP modules.
• No changes to user interfaces, except for the display of the final document number.

Batch Processing:

• Document creation for accountable articles will now occur after business hours via scheduled batch jobs (previously online).
• Document numbers will not be instantly visible post-transaction; generated later in the batch process.

Advantages:

✅ Faster transaction processing.

✅ Reduced system load during peak hours.

✅ Fewer DPMS-related support tickets.

Action Required:

Circles/Post Offices: Communicate this change to all SAP users to prevent complaints about delayed document number availability.
