Interest Rate:

7.1% per annum (compounded quarterly), as notified by the Department of Economic Affairs (Resolution No. 5(3)-B(PD)/2023 dated 01.04.2025).

Tables of Benefits:

Two Categories:

Table 1: For subscriptions of:

• ₹10/month (01.01.1982 to 31.12.1989).
• ₹15/month (from 01.01.1990 onwards).

Table 2: For employees who opted out of the revised rate (₹10/month post-01.01.1990).

Applicability:

• Includes Indian Audit and Accounts Department (consultation with C&AG as per Article 148(5) of the Constitution).
• Hindi version attached.
