Subject: Instructions on filling up of Accounts Line posts of Postal/RMS wing-reg.

Sir/Madam,

I am directed to refer to this office's letter of even number dated 05.05.2025 on the filling up of Account line posts of Postal /RMS wing wherein all Postal Circles were requested to first complete the DPC process for the vacancy year 2024 for promotion to general line posts as well Accounts Line Posts as per available Recruitment Rules of respective cadres before consolidation of accounts line posts with general line.

2. However, it has come to the notice of the Directorate that in some Postal Circles, DPC for vacancy year 2025 has already been convened. Therefore, a decision now has been taken by the Competent Authority that all Circles may first complete the DPC process for the vacancy year 2025 for promotion to general line posts as well as Account line posts as per available Recruitment Rules of respective cadres.

3. Thereafter, process for consolidation of Account line posts with general line in terms of Directorate letter dated 11.02.2025 may be initiated with effect from vacancy year 2026.

This may be treated as URGENT.
