1. Purpose:
  • Call for Willingness: Invites Postal Assistants (PAs) across India to work in PLI Directorate, New Delhi on deputation basis.
  • Reason for Extension: Very few applications received by the original deadline (16.05.2025).
2. Eligibility & Terms:
Eligibility Criteria:
  • PAs who have completed probation.
  • Not eligible: LSG cadre or above, officials with pending inter-circle transfer requests.
Deputation Period:
  • Initial 3 years, extendable by 2 more years (in 1-year increments).
Key Conditions:
  • Salary drawn from PLI Directorate; no deputation allowance (only HRA/Transport Allowance for Delhi).
  • No absorption in PLI; lien remains with parent circle.
  • Disqualification: Use of political influence (violates CCS Conduct Rules).
3. Application Process:
  • Proforma: Submit via Annexure-A (see below).
  • Channel: Must be routed through Divisional Head → CPMG approval.
  • Deadline: 31.08.2025 (strictly via proper channel; no direct applications).
4. Annexure-A (Application Form Highlights):
Sections:
  • Personal details (Name, Employee ID, DOB, Contact).
  • Service history (Cadre, Pay Level, Probation Status).
  • Experience (PLI/CPC work, Computer proficiency, Training).
  • Declaration of compliance with deputation guidelines.
  • Attestation: Requires signatures of Divisional Head and CPMG.
Action Points for Circles:
  • Circulate the OM to all PAs.
  • Forward eligible applications with recommendations to PLI Directorate by 31.08.2025.
  • Ensure compliance with deputation guidelines (OM No. X-07/27/2022-SPN-II).
Important Notes:
  • Reserve Pool: Applications will form a 1-year valid pool for future vacancies.
  • Selection: Based on online interviews; unsuitable candidates may be repatriated without notice.
  • Non-Compliance: Applications without CPMG approval or sent directly will be rejected.
