Subject: Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE)/Competitive Examination (CE) for promotion/recruitment to the post of PA/SA for the vacancy year 2025 (01.01.2025 to 31.12.2025) -Issue of fresh date - regarding.

Madam/Sir,

I am directed to refer to this office letter of even number dated 03.07.2025 vide which the LDCE/CE for promotion/recruitment to the post of PA/SA for the vacancy year 2025 (01.01.2025 to 31.12.2025), earlier scheduled to be held on 20.07.2025, was postponed due to administrative reasons. It was also mentioned that a fresh date for the same will be intimated shortly.

2. The approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed to issue the fresh date for the examinations as under:

2.	Competitive Examination for recruitment to the cadre of Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant from Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDSs) for the unfilled Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) vacancies of PA/SA, for the year 2025 (01.01.2025 to 31.12.2025)	17.08.2025 (Sunday)

3. Accordingly, the Circles are requested to make all necessary arrangements and also to bring this to the notice of all concerned.

4. The formal notification may be uploaded on the Departmental website i.e. www.indiapost.gov.in as well as on the Circle’s website, if any.

5. This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
