Simple Guide for GDS Attendance Registration

Before you begin, make sure you have:
  • Your Division has updated your Branch Office details.
  • A valid Aadhaar card (name, date of birth, and gender must match your official record).
  • A recent digital photo ready to upload (in .jpg format and under 150 KB).

Step 1: Create Your Account

  • Go to your Divisional Attendance Portal.
  • Click on "Employee Registration" on the left.
  • Enter your name and date of birth exactly as they appear on your Aadhaar card.
  • Enter your mobile number and click "Generate OTP."
  • Enter the OTP you receive to verify your number and proceed.

Step 2: Complete Your Profile

After OTP verification, your name, DOB, and mobile number will be filled in. You will need to:
  • Select your gender.
  • Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number, email ID, and Employee Code (GDS ID).
  • Under "Office Details," select your Branch Office Facility ID.
  • Set your designation to Branch Post Master and office location to Branch Post Office.
  • Upload your prepared photo.
  • Enter the captcha code, check the consent box, and carefully review all information before submitting.

Step 3: Start Marking Attendance on the DARPAN Device

  • Once your registration is approved by the Division, you can mark your daily IN/OUT attendance.
  • Ensure you have received an 8-digit Attendance ID.
  • The AEBAS Mobile App and Face RD App must be installed on your DARPAN device.
  • Open the AEBAS App and follow the on-screen instructions to mark attendance using Face or Iris authentication.
