Subject: LDCE for promotion to the cadre of Inspector Posts (IP) for vacancy year 2025 – opening of Window for Application Submission by Applicants as well as other related activities – reg.
Madam/Sir,
I am directed to refer to the LDCE IP-2025 Notification issued vide letter No.DE-12/3/2025-DE-DOP dated 26.09.2025 followed by addendum No.DE-12/3/2025-DE-DOP (Part) dated 17.10.2025.

Clarifications on senior/junior eligibility for the LDCE-IP have been issued vide OM No.X-07/5/2025-SPN-II-DOP dated 17.10.2025 endorsed vide letter DE-12/3/2025-DE-DOP-Part (1) dated 21.10.2025 and thereafter vide letter No X-07/5/2025-SPN-II-DOP dated 28.10.2025. Further, the CEPT vide letter No. CEPT-7/IT2.0/Vol-IV/Dlgs dated 15.10.2025 has also issued some instructions for employees working on deputation or under temporary transfer and requested to Circulate amongst all.

In view of the above, with a view to provide equal opportunity, sufficient time to all aspirants and to ensure that none of the eligible candidates is left, it has been decided by the Competent Authority to open a window in the Application Processing Module for facilitating submission of applications by the affected aspirants as also for completion of other application processing (post-application submission) activities by the concerned authorities. This will also facilitate adequate time to the Controlling Authority/Nodal Authority to verify the credentials, ensuring that only eligible candidates appear in the LDCE.

The revised schedule, after incorporating fresh submission of applications and other activities is as under:

There is no change in the scheduled date of examination. LDCE IP- 2025 will be conducted on 29th and 30th November 2025 as scheduled. This opportunity may be treated as final by all concerned.
