Subject: One-time relaxation to facilitate the engagement as GDS on compassionate grounds to dependents of deceased Departmental Employees/ GDS whose deaths occurred during between 01.01.2020 to 24.02.2025.

The undersigned is directed to convey approval of the Competent Authority for providing one-time relaxation to facilitate the engagement as GDS on compassionate grounds to dependents of deceased Departmental Employees/ GDS whose deaths occurred during the period from 01.01.2020 to 24.02.2025. This relaxation has been approved after considering suggestions received from stakeholders and in continuation of the instructions issued vide this Directorate’s OM dated 31.07.2025.

Annexure-I and Annexure-II are enclosed for further necessary action and for furnishing responses/comments from Circles.

CEPT will make necessary provisions in the CCE portal under ATP 2.0 for processing such cases. A report in Annexure-B of the Scheme may be submitted within the prescribed time.
