Subject: Cadre Restructuring of PA/SA, LSG, HSG-II and HSG-I Posts of Post Offices (POs), Railway Mail Service (RMS) and Circle/Regional Offices (CO/RO)-reg.

Madam/Sir,

I am directed to say that a Committee was constituted under the Chairmanship of Shri K. Prakash, Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Circle to make recommendations for cadre restructuring of PA/SA, LSG, HSG-II and HSG-I posts of Post Offices (POs), Railway Mail Service (RMS) and Circle/Regional Offices (CO/RO).

The Committee has submitted its report to this Directorate. It comprises of three parts: Part-I (Concise Report), Part-II (Comprehensive Report) and Part-III (Annexures). The report being voluminous, is being shared through email for reference and necessary action.

All the Circles/Staff Associations are requested to carefully examine the recommendations of the Committee, and furnish their views/suggestions thereon to the Directorate, by 10.02.2026 positively.

This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
