Key Clarifications

1. Fuel Reimbursement Charges – Accounting Head
   • Object Head-24 (Fuels & Lubricants) is only for departmental vehicles.
   • Reimbursement to delivery staff includes maintenance components, so it must be booked under Office Expenses (OE).
2. Delivery Performance – Linking with Fuel Reimbursement
   • Reimbursement is linked to performance above 90% in accountable article delivery.
   • Deemed deliveries will also be counted in performance calculation.

Purpose

To resolve accounting confusion and confirm performance criteria for reimbursement, ensuring uniform implementation across postal circles.

Action Points

• Book reimbursement under Office Expenses (OE), not Object Head-24.
• Include deemed deliveries in performance metrics for reimbursement eligibility.
• All Circles to comply with these clarifications.
