OFFICE ORDER

Subject:- Attachment of Shri Md. Shahnawaz Akhter (IPoS:2010), Director (Staff) with the Eighth Central Pay Commission - regarding

In pursuance of Eighth Central Pay Commission D.O. No. 10/27/2026- Estt/8CPC dated 17.02.2026 and O.M dated 18.03.2026, the services of Shri Md. Shahnawaz Akhter (IPoS:2010), Director (Staff) are placed at the disposal of the Eighth Central Pay Commission on loan basis for a period up to the tenure of the Commission.

The terms and conditions governing the attachment are as under:

i. The officer shall perform duties assigned by the Eighth Central Pay Commission and shall be under its administrative control.
ii. The pay, allowances, and all other financial benefits (including reimbursement-based entitlements etc.) shall be drawn and borne by the Department of Posts.
iii. The officer shall continue to avail medical facilities as admissible under the rules of the parent Department, and the expenditure on this account shall be borne by the Department of Posts.
iv. TA/DA for official tours undertaken during the period of attachment shall be borne by the Eighth Central Pay Commission as per applicable rules.
v. The officer can avail vehicle facility from the Department of Posts or the Commission, in lieu of Transport Allowance.

Relevant charge reports along with addresses and telephone numbers may be sent to all concerned in due course.

  7. GM (CEPT), Mysore with a request to upload the order in India Post Website.
  8. Director of Accounts (Postal), Delhi.
  9. CS to Member (P) : w.r.t APAR
  10. Director (Admin)/ADG(Admin) : the pay and allowances of the officer shall continue to be drawn from the Postal Directorate, Department of Posts.
  11. SO (C&A/PB) : the pay and allowances of the officer shall continue to be drawn from the Postal Directorate, Department of Posts.
  12. ADG(SPG)/SO (SPG-1) : All service- related matters of the officer, including LTC, leave records and maintenance of the Service Book etc shall be dealt with by the Personnel Division of the Postal Directorate.
