Subject: Promotional and Incentive Structure of PLI / RPLI – Clarification in respect of sales force – regarding.

This is regarding the promotional and incentive structure of PLI/RPLI, issued vide PLI Directorate OM No. 28-03/2019-LI dated 19.06.2020 and implemented in Circles w.e.f. 01.07.2020 and further clarified vide letter No. 28-03/2019-LI dated 06.07.2020.

In this connection, Para 2 (i) is clarified in respect of sales force procuring PLI/RPLI business:

Sl. No.	Earlier Orders	Clarification
(i)	Sales force of PLI/RPLI may procure PLI/RPLI business from anywhere in a Postal Circle.	Sales force of PLI/RPLI may procure PLI/RPLI business from anywhere in the Country.
(ii)	In such cases, PLI/RPLI policy will be indexed at the HO CPC nearest to the address/place of the residence of the insurant.	In such cases, PLI/RPLI policy will be indexed at the HO CPC anywhere in the Country.
(iii)	No TA/DA will be payable to sales force of PLI/RPLI for procuring PLI/RPLI business.	No TA/DA will be payable to sales force of PLI/RPLI for procuting PLI/RPLI business in all such cases.

All other contents of the clarification issued vide letter No. 28-03/2019-LI dated 06.07.2020 hold good.

This issues with approval of the Competent Authority.
