Subject: Scheduled Test DC–DR Drill limited cluster failover/failback, backup restoration and Point-in-Time Recovery (PITR) validation on 28.06.2026 – reg.

Madam/Sir,

With reference to aforementioned subject, the undersigned is directed to inform that a Test NGC DC–DR Drill i.e. limited cluster failover/failback, has been approved for execution on 28.06.2026 as part of the preparedness activities for the proposed NGC DC–DR Drill.

2. The exercise shall be conducted as per the following schedule:

i. Date: 28.06.2026 (Sunday)

ii. Maintenance Window: 0600 Hrs to 1200 Hrs

3. The exercise will involve selected back-office clusters and databases. During the maintenance window, APT application/DREAM application may not be available.

4. In view of the above, all Postal Circles are requested to:

i. Disseminate the information to all concerned units under their jurisdiction;

ii. Plan and regulate activities appropriately during the maintenance window;

iii. Avoid scheduling essential activities dependent on the affected systems during the notified period;

iv. Maintain close coordination with CEPT in case of any operational issues; and

5. This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
