Subject: Completion of Controlling Authority Mapping for conduct of LDCE-IP, 2026 through the Online Application Processing Module – reg.

Madam/Sir,

This is regarding completion of the activity of controlling authority mapping in the Application Processing Module in APT 2.0 for the LDCEs/CEs. CEPT has informed that Controlling Authority Mapping is a one-time mandatory prerequisite activity for all cadre and office types in the Online Application Processing Module. It has further informed that candidates will not be able to submit online applications unless the requisite mapping is completed.

2. In view of the above, all Postal Circles are requested to complete the Controlling Authority Mapping on priority, well before the scheduled date of issue of the Notification for LDCE-IP, 2026, by following the Operational Guide (copy enclosed).

3. CEPT has informed that it will organize an online demonstration session on the Controlling Authority Mapping procedure, if considered necessary by any Circle. However, since all Postal Circles had already undertaken the Controlling Authority Mapping during conduct of LDCE-IP, 2025, they are requested to complete the mapping activity on priority by following the Operational Guide already shared by CEPT. In case any Circle still requires a demonstration or clarification, the same may be intimated to this Directorate so that an online demonstration session may be arranged by CEPT. The concerned officers of the Circle may also liaise with CEPT for smooth and timely completion of the mapping activity.

4. The matter may be accorded Top Priority and strict adherence to the prescribed timeline may be ensured to facilitate smooth acceptance and processing of online applications for LDCE-IP, 2026.
