OFFICE ORDER

In continuation of this Department’s Order of even number dated 10.11.2023, 02.02.2024 and OM of even number dated 08.11.2024, 31.01.2025, approval of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoP&T) is hereby conveyed for extension of period of the ad-hoc promotion of Postal Service (PS), Group ‘B’ officers to Junior Time Scale (JTS) of Indian Postal Service (IPoS), Group ‘A’ beyond one year from assumption of charge on ad-hoc promotion, till their joining on regular promotion in JTS of IPoS, Group ‘A’ or till the date of termination of their ad-hoc promotion or till their retirement, as the case may be.

The extension of the ad-hoc arrangement is subject to the extant guidelines issued by DoP&T in this matter.

This issues with the approval of competent authority.
