OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: - Extension of validity of empanelment of existing CGHS empanelled Health Care Organizations (HCOs) and completion of empanelment process under HEM 2.0 – reg.

Reference: -

i) Office Memorandum F.No. 5-34/CGHS(HQ)/HEC/2025 dated 16.07.2026 regarding extension of deadline for execution of Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) by existing empanelled Health Care Organisations (HCOs) under CGHS.

ii) OM no.F.No.5-34/CGHS/HEC(HQ)2025 dated:22.12.2025.

1. In continuation of the above-mentioned Office Memorandum, it has been decided, with the approval of the Competent Authority, to further extend the validity of empanelment of existing CGHS empanelled Health Care Organisations (HCOs) till 15.09.2026.

2. Further, All Additional Directors concerned are directed to ensure that the empanelment process of eligible HCOs is completed on or before 15.09.2026. This shall include scrutiny of applications, resolution of pending queries, physical verification wherever required, execution of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), verification of Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG), and approval of empanelment on the portal.

3. Hospitals which have not applied/whose applications have been rejected, or which are otherwise found ineligible under the prescribed criteria shall stand de-empanelled from the CGHS panel with effect from 16.09.2026.

4. All such hospitals shall prominently display a notice at the entrance/reception of the hospital premises informing CGHS beneficiaries that the hospital will no longer empanelled under CGHS with effect from 16.09.2026, so that beneficiaries are not put to inconvenience.

5. In view of petitions pending in various courts,all the existing empanelled Eye Hospitals/Eye Centres shall be permitted to continue providing services to CGHS beneficiaries up to 30.09.2026. During this period, such hospitals/centres shall make all necessary arrangements to fulfil the revised empanelment criteria prescribed vide Office Memorandum dated 22.12.2025.
