Key Concerns Raised:
Unscientific individual targets imposed on Departmental and GDS employees.
Identification of “low performers” and initiation of adverse actions (explanations, warnings, memos under Rules 16/14/10).
Circulation of a Google spreadsheet in Karnataka Circle compiling “Action taken against Low Performers and Good Performers” for August 2026.
Contradiction with Directorate’s clarification: “No direct targets are assigned to Departmental and GDS Employees.”
