Windows cannot access the Network Folder in Windows 7

Widows shared folder cannot access due to security reason the following error will shown

You do not have permission to access <Shared folder>. Contact your network administrator to request access.

To access the entire drive/ particular folder you need to use both the regular sharing permissions and more importantly you need to use the Security tab of the drive and allow for permissions there as well. Example below.
