Subject: Allocation of Postal Circles to candidates recommended by SSC for CGLE-2024

Key Points:

• Total Candidates Recommended: 4150 candidates have been recommended by SSC for appointment as Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant based on CGLE-2024.
• Allocation Criteria: Postal Circles have been allocated based on the candidates' ranks in the final results of CGLE-2024 and their submitted preferences.
• Pending Dossiers: Candidates whose dossiers are yet to be forwarded by SSC will not receive appointment offers until their nominations are confirmed and dossiers are received by the Department of Posts.

Next Steps:

• Candidates must exercise their preference for Cadre (Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant) and Division/Unit of the allocated Postal Circle through the same online portal used earlier.
• A separate notice will be issued for this purpose.
• Official Website: Candidates are advised to regularly check www.indiapost.gov.in for updates.

Annexure-I :

• The document includes a detailed list of candidates (Roll Number, Name, Rank, Category, Preference Filled, and Allocated Circle) for the first 1049 candidates.

Recipients:

• All Head of Circles (HOCs) for further action.
• Selected candidates of CGLE-2024 (via India Post website).
• Copy to SSC and GM (CEPT), Mysore, for uploading on the India Post website.
