Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications:

Preferably a graduate with teaching experience (knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage).
Must be an Inspector Posts (IP).
Age Limit: Not exceeding 52 years.

Proficiency:

Fluency in English and Tamil/Hindi.
Expertise in Departmental Rules, Procedures, and Software (e.g., Post Office/Mail Office applications).
Disciplinary Record: No pending disciplinary proceedings.

Aptitude: Demonstrated interest in training and knowledge dissemination.

2. Job Responsibilities

Teaching: Full-time instruction on Postal/RMS operations.
Additional Duties:
Mess management, library work, trainee welfare.
Developing training materials, online content, and evaluations.
Residency Requirement: Must occupy Rent-free Quarters (Type II/III) within PTC campus.

3. Allowances & Tenure

Training Allowance: 12% of basic pay.
Tenure: 4 years (extendable by 2 years based on performance).
Retirement/Promotion: Officials due for promotion/retirement within 4 years need not apply.

4. Selection Process

Screening Test: Assesses knowledge of Departmental Rules, Software, and presentation skills.
