• Original Notification: Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) notified on 24th January 2025 (Notification No. F. No. FX-1/3/2024-PR).
• Operational Framework: PFRDA issued PFRDA (Operationalisation of UPS under NPS) Regulations, 2025 on 19th March 2025.
• Initial Deadline: 30th June 2025 for options by eligible employees, retirees, and spouses of deceased retirees.
• Extension: Cut-off date extended by 3 months to 30th September 2025 due to stakeholder requests.
