Device Registration and TOTP App is mandatory w.e.f 06/07/2025 in APT 2.0

Dear All, 

in connection with mandatory security requirements, Device Registration and TOTP shall be made mandatory from 06-07-2025 onwards in production environment. 

All Circle SPOCs including Karnataka Circle are requested to intimate the Circles accordingly. 

The new circles going for rollout have to go through this secured channel while giving migration and rollout signoff on 6th and 7th July. Those employees who could not download TOTP app (due to iOS or feature phone etc) can use Mobile OTP for authentication. 

For this purpose, updation of correct Mobile Number in PIS is mandatory. As mobile updation has been done as part of Employee Validation, there should not be any issue in this regard.
