Subject: Urgent Request for Early Commencement of GDS Rule-3

• The Rule-3 Transfer Cycle for September 2025 has already been delayed by more than three months owing to technical lapses in IT 2.0.
• This delay has created widespread unrest among Gramin Dak Sevaks, particularly those working in remote and difficult areas, where over a hundred employees are anxiously waiting for their genuine transfer requests to be considered.
• The longer the delay, the deeper the hardship for the staff and their families.
• Timely initiation of the transfer cycle will not only bring relief to them but also ensure better efficiency and morale in the Department.
• The union requests the Director General's intervention to commence the GDS Rule-3 Transfer process at the earliest.
