The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments of officers at Joint Secretary/Joint Secretary equivalent level with pay at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix:

1. Appointment of Ms. Nidhi Pandey, InfoS (1991), as Joint Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years upto 19.07.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by temporarily downgrading a vacant post of AS, vice Ms. Sushma Taishete, CSS;
2. Appointment of Shri Ashim Kumar Modi, IRS (IT) (2000), as Joint Secretary & FA, Ministry of Coal, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Nirupama Kotru, IRS (IT:1992);
3. Appointment of Ms. Meenakshi Jolly, CSS, as Additional DG (JS level), National Museum, under the Ministry of Culture, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure upto the date of her superannuation on 30.09.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Ashish Goyal, IIS (1996);
4. Appointment of Ms. Anvita Sinha, IRPS (2003), as Sr. Directing Staff, NDC (National Defence College), under the Department of Defence, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Vijay Nehra, IAS (GJ:2001);
5. Appointment of Ms. Aishvarya Singh, IAS(SK:2008), as Joint Secretary, Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure upto 05.02.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Jitendra Srivastava, IAS (BH:2000);
6. Appointment of Shri Amit Singla, IAS (UT:2003), as Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Surbhi Jain, IES (2001);
7. Appointment of Shri Tarun Kumar Pitnode, IAS (MP:2009), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 08.09.2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Tamnay Kumar, IAS (RJ:1993);
8. Appointment of Ms. Ekroop Caur, IAS (KN:2001), as Joint Secretary, Department of Expenditure, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Sanjay Prasad, IRS (IT:90);
9. Appointment of Shri Krishna Kant Pathak, IAS (RJ:2001), as Joint Secretary, Department of Fertilizers, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Tina Soni, IAS (RJ:2007);
10. Appointment of Ms. Shalini Pandit, IAS (OD:2001), as Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Sameer Shukla, IAS (KN:2005);
11. Appointment of Shri Arvind Khare, IDAS (2000), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Abhijit Sinha, IAS (NL:2000);
12. Appointment of Shri Madhup Vyas, IAS (UT:2000), as Executive Director (ED), NIDM (National Institute of Disaster Management), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 27.03.2030, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Rajendra Ratnoo, IAS (TN:2001);
13. Appointment of Shri Chetan P S Rao, IRS (IT) (2002), as Member (Finance), DDA (Delhi Development Authority), under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Vijay Kumar Singh, ICAS (1995);
14. Appointment of Ms. Garima Singh, CSS, as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Vrunda Manohar Desai, IRS (IT:2003);
15. Appointment of Shri Suresh Kumar, CSS, as Joint Secretary, Department of Justice, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure upto the date of superannuation on 31.05.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Gaurav Masaldan, IRS (C&IT:1998);
16. Appointment of Shri Ajay Gupta, IRSS (1993), as Joint Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure upto the date of superannuation on 31.08.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier;
17. Appointment of Shri Phool Chand Prasad, CSS, as Joint Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure upto the date of superannuation on 28.02.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier;
18. Appointment of Ms. Archana Mittal, IRSME (1996), as Adviser (JS level), NITI Aayog, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Nidhi Chhibber, IAS (CG:94);
19. Appointment of Ms. Nidhi Pandey, IAS (MH:2001), as Joint Secretary, Department of Official Language, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Meenakshi Jolly, CSS;
20. Appointment of Shri Sushil Kumar Patel, IAS (NL:2009), as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 20.08.2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by temporarily upgrading the post held by the officer from DS/Director level to Joint Secretary level, initially for a period of two years;
21. Appointment of Shri Dinesh Kumar Verma, CSS, as Secretary (JS level), PESB (Public Enterprises Selection Board), under the Department of Personnel &Training, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure upto the date of Superannuation on 28.02.2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Nita Kejrewal, CSS;
22. Appointment of Ms. Chhavi Bhardwaj, IAS (MP:2008), as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel &Training with additional charge of the post of CEO, Karmayogi Bharat, under the Department of Personnel &Training, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 17.07.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier;
23. Appointment of Shri Satyaprakash T L, IAS (HY:2002), as Joint Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Shri Ravindra Pratap Singh, IAS(OD:2007);
24. Appointment of Shri Aman Sharma, IPoS (2002), as Joint Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 31.12.2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier;
25. Appointment of Shri Shreeshali Maige, IRAS (2002), as Joint Secretary & FA, Department of Posts, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 26.02.2029, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Partha Sarathi Das, IA&AS (1994);
26. Appointment of Shri Chetna Nand Singh, IRSEE (1994), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Amit Kumar Ghosh, IAS (UP:1994);
27. Appointment of Shri Nishant Verma, IFoS (UD:1999), as Joint Secretary, ANRF (Anusandhan National Research Foundation), under the Department of Science & Technology, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier;
28. Appointment of Shri Harikishore S, IAS (KL:2008), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri B. Suman, IAS (KL:1996);
29. Appointment of Shri Rajamurugan Muthukalathi, IPS (MN:1996), as Managing Director, TRIFED (Tribal Co-Operative Marketing Development Federation of India) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure upto the date of his superannuation on 30.11.2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by temporarily downgrading the post to the level of Joint Secretary;
30. Appointment of Ms. V Lalithalakshmi, IAS (WB:2008), as Joint Secretary, Vice President's Secretariat, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 28.02.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier;
31. Appointment of Ms. Shilpa Sachin Shinde, IAS (UT:2006), as CMD (JS level), WAPCOS (Water and Power Consultancy Services), under the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier;
32. Appointment of Shri Suman Narain, IA&AS (2000), as Joint Secretary, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 02.01.2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by temporarily downgrading a vacant post of Additional Secretary in the Department.
33. Appointment of Shri Ajeet Kumar, IAS(MP:2002), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of five years upto 18.08.2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Ms. Pallavi Agarwal, IRS (IT:1991);
34. Appointment of Ms. Radhika Jha, IAS (UD:2002), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women & Child Development, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier;
35. Appointment of Shri Mansoor Hasan Khan, IDAS (2002), as Joint Secretary & FA, Department of Youth Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Sanjay Rastogi, IAS (OR:91).
