Sub- Ascertaining Financial Implications – Pay Fixation of Ex-Combatant Clerks Re-employed as Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants – reg.
Sir/Madam,
This is regarding Para 16(2) of the CCS (Fixation of Pay of Re-employed Pensioners) Orders, 1986 which provides for pay fixation benefits to ex-combatant clerks re-employed in clerical posts. The applicability of this provision to such officials re-employed as Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants is presently under examination in this Directorate.
2. In this regard, all Circles are requested to furnish the following information to assess the financial implications:

3. The information may be compiled in MS Excel format and forwarded to this Directorate by 30.09.2025, duly vetted by CIFA and approved by the competent authority. This may be treated as urgent.
