Subject: Issuance of ATM Cards under Post Office Savings Bank.

Key Points:

• The printing and supply of both Instant and Personalized ATM cards have commenced.
• Over 200,000 new Instant ATM Card Kits have been supplied to Post Offices based on Circle indents.
• A review shows approximately 15,000+ Post Offices (SOLs) still have old ATM card stock. A Circle-level list is being shared via email.

Action Requested 1: Ensure these Post Offices issue the old ATM Kits within the next three months. Divert unused stock to needy Post Offices for 100% utilization.

Action Requested 2: Direct Circle CBS CPCs to review availability and place indents to CPRC, Chennai, as per the existing process.

Action Requested 3: Issue directions to all Post Offices to create customer awareness about ATM card availability and encourage them to apply at the nearest Post Office. Motivate customers to opt for Personalized Cards when their current cards expire.
