Subject: - Rationalization of Discount structure of Inland Speed Post (Documents) under BNPL Scheme

This is in continuation of this office OM No. 10-23/2013-BD&MD dated 24th January 2017 covered under PO order MO/02/2024 dated 16.12.2024 vide which a detailed guideline on Speed Post discount and discount structure, various facilities for Bulk customers were issued.

• Now, since the Inland Speed Post (Documents) tariff is being revised from 1st October, 2025, the related discount guidelines and discount structure as well as available facilities for the bulk customers need to be subsequently revised. In order to promote new business as well as Start-ups , MSMEs etc. and to expand the revenue share of the department by including the best practices of the market, a simplified and a suitable discount guidelines and discount structure is being issued through this OM.

3. Volume Discount

3.1 The following discount structure will be available to contractual customers of Inland Speed Post document :

Up to 9,00,000	10%	20%
Up to 45,00,000	20%	25%
Up to 1,30,00,000	30%	30%
Up to 6,50,00,000	40%	35%
Above 6,50,00,000	50%	40%

3.2 The discount at present offered to the retail walk-in customers is discontinued.

3.3. 1% additional discount will be offered to those contractual customers who either avail advance deposit facility or make payment at the time of booking. In case monthlyrevenue is more than Rs. 25 lakh, additional discount for such customers will be 2%.

3.4 No Discount shall be available on the value-added services opted by the customer.

These instructions shall come into force on the 1st day of October, 2025.
