OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Redesignation and revision of duties & responsibilities of Members, Postal Services Board in the Department of Posts – reg.

Duties and responsibilities of the Members, Postal Services Board in the Department of Posts were issued vide Establishment Division’s OM of even number dated 27.11.2024.

2. The Competent Authority has now approved revision in the designation, duties and responsibilities of some of the Members of Postal Services Board, which are as under:

Stinivas, presently Member (Infrastructure), redesignated as Member (Customer Satisfaction)	Estates, Materials Management, Engineering Wing (Civil/Electrical)	Customer Satisfaction, Swachhta, Quality Assurance, Inspections/Visits, Reviews IRs/VRs, RTI matters, Materials Management	DDG (CS, QA & I) will handle Material Management also and will now report to Member (Customer Satisfaction).
2. Shri Subrat Das, presently Member (Technology), redesignated as Member (Technology & Estates)	Technology, Project Management Unit	Technology, Project Management Unit, Estates, Engineering Wing (Civil/ Electrical)	DDG (Tech), DDG (PMU) will continue to report to Member (Technology & Estates). DDG (Estates) and Chief Engineers (Civil/ Electrical) will now also report to Member (Technology & Estates).

3. Shri Niraj Kumar, Member (Service Quality & Marketing), redesignated as Member (Philately, Media and Communication) | Customer Satisfaction, Quality Assurance, Inspections/Visits, Reviews IRs/VRs, RTI matters, Philately, Marketing, Social Media, Publicity, Annual Report, e-Book of Information, Collection of Postal Statistics & conduct of enumerations | Philately, Marketing, Media, Social Media, Publicity, Annual Report, e-Book of Information, Collection of Postal Statistics & conduct of enumerations | DDG (Philately & Marketing) and DDG (STT) will continue to report to Member (Philately, Media and Communication). |

4. The duties and responsibilities of other Members shall remain unchanged.
