Subject : Tentative Schedule of GDS Online Engagement Schedule - I, January - 2026 and Development of GDS Online Engagement Portal under APT 2.0 - reg.

Sir,

Please refer to this section letter dated 27.11.2025 and your office letter no. CEPT-7/IT2.0/Vol Vidigs dated 01.12.2025 on the above subject.

The comments submitted by the CEPT on the tentative schedule of GDS Online Engagement Schedule - I, January - 2026 and integration of DigiLocker has been discussed. Accordingly, it has been decided that the upcoming January schedule of GDS Engagement will be commenced without the DigiLocker functionality.

Further, CEPT is requested to timely complete their discussion with DigiLocker team and finalize the integration of DigiLocker and GDS Portal integration, so that this functionality may be made available in the GDS Online Engagement Schedule - II, July 2026 in time. CEPT is requested to complete the integration in production environment till February, 2026, so that a UAT of DigiLocker integration with GDS Online Engagement Portal may be conducted in the month March, 2026.

In view of the above, the following revised timelines considering the CEPT suggestions have been approved by the competent authority for different activities :

Further, CEPT is requested that SOP detailing the verification process, validation requirements, data entry rules and exception-handling procedures will be shared with all circles and this Directorate by 09.12.2025 to enable the configuration and verification of educational boards by the circles as per above timeline.

The detailed instructions of all activities such as vacancy capturing etc. will be shared with CEPT and all the circles in due course.
