Summary: Rectification of IDC Configuration in APT 2.0 Reports
The Parcel Directorate, Department of Posts, issued a directive on 23 March 2026 to all postal circles regarding incorrect reflection of Integrated Delivery Centres (IDCs) in APT 2.0 Delivery Transit Time Analysis Reports.
Issue Identified: Many IDCs are not visible in APT 2.0 reports because they are wrongly configured as “SPO” (Sub Post Office) instead of “IDC” in the system’s master data.
CEPT Clarification: All operational (“live”) IDCs must perform delivery operations at their own centres, regardless of configuration. Correct mapping is essential for accurate reporting and compliance.
Actions Required from Circles:
- Review all functioning IDCs and verify their configuration in APT 2.0.
- Reconfigure all operational IDCs with the office type “IDC”.
- Ensure delivery operations occur at the IDC level.
- Confirm corrective actions and report compliance.
- Contact Manager (MMU-I) at parceldte@gmail.com or 011-26111180 for assistance.

Subject: Request for rectification of the reflection of Integrated Delivery Centre Visibility in APT 2.0 Reports- Reg Ref: Parcel Directorate email dated 07.03.2026 and letter dated 09.03.2026 & 20.03.2026- Reg
Sir/Madam,
Kindly refer to the issues pertaining to the availability of Integrated Delivery Centres (IDCs) data in the Delivery Transit Time Analysis Report in APT 2.0, which were earlier taken up with CEPT by Parcel Directorate vide email dated 07.03.2026 and letter No. PD-09/1/2025-Parcel Dte .- DOP dated 09.03.2026.
In this regard, CEPT vide emails dated 09.03.2026 and 12.03.2026 has informed that, as per the master data configuration in APT 2.0, only certain offices from Gujarat, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal Circles are presently configured with the office type code "IDC". In respect of other Circles, the concerned IDC offices are currently configured as "SPO" (Sub Post Office), due to which they are appearing under the SO/NDC filter instead of the IDC filter in the Delivery Transit Time Analysis Report. Consequently, several IDCs are not reflected in the portal reports (MIS).
CEPT has also clarified that irrespective of the office type configured in the system, all operational ("live") IDCs are required to carry out delivery operations at the IDC itself. Accordingly, it is essential that Circles ensure both correct system configuration and adherence to the prescribed operational framework.
In view of the above, all Circles are requested to undertake the following actions:
i. Review the list of all Integrated Delivery Centres (IDCs) functioning in the Circle and verify their configuration in APT 2.0 master data.
ii. Ensure that all operational IDCs are correctly mapped/configured with the office type "IDC" in the system, instead of "SPO".
iii. Confirm that delivery operations are being carried out at all operational IDCs as per the prescribed operational design.
iv. Review the status of all IDCs under their jurisdiction and confirm the corrective action taken, particularly with regard to proper mapping of IDC offices and operationalization of delivery at the IDC level.
v. In case of any further information is required in this regard, Manager- (MMU-I) may be contacted on parceldte@gmail.com and on 011-26111180.
This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
