PLI/RPLI Monitoring Incentive Calculator v2.0

Important Notes:

• This application is a standalone file—no installation or prerequisites required.

• All input fields are mandatory.

Incentive Calculation Logic:

(A) Selection Window (Rolling 12 Months):

• Monitoring Incentive is paid only on First Year Premium.
• For each month’s billing, only policies with an Acceptance Date within the preceding 12 months are selected.
• Example: For July 2025, policies from August 2024 to July 2025 are included.

(B) Payment Verification (Paid Up To):

• A policy is included in a given month’s bill only if its PAID TO DATE is on or after the last day of that month.

(C) No Premium Multiplication:

• Monthly Premium: Taken directly from the PREMIUM column in the source data.

• Total Premium Paid: Taken directly from the PREMIUM column in the source data.

(D) Monitoring Incentive:
Calculated as Premium × Incentive Rate (0.00x).

(E) Frequency-Based Rows & Dates:

• Monthly: 1 month → Period: 1st to end of month.

• Quarterly: 3 months → Period: 1st of month to end of 3rd month.

• Half-Yearly: 6 months → Period: 1st of month to end of 6th month.

• Yearly: 12 months → Period: 1st of month to end of 12th month.

(F) Due Month Logic:
A policy appears only in the bill for the month it is actually due.
Example: A quarterly policy appears every 3rd month from its start date within the 12-month window.

Input Excel File Requirements:

(A) For Source Data File:

1. Input BOSO data (use as-is, no changes required).

2. Agent Data sample file – prepare once.

3. Sub Division Data sample file – prepare once.

(B) Select a radio button to choose calculation type. Incentive rate input boxes will be enabled accordingly.

(C) Enter the correct incentive rate in each box.

(D) Input From Month and To Month in MM-YYYY format.

(E) Click Calculate and see the results.
