Subject: Declaration of DA/DR — reg.

Body of the Letter: The Confederation expresses concern over the non-declaration of due installments of DA/DR (Dearness Allowance/Dearness Relief) effective from 01.01.2026. Normally, these are declared in the last week of March, with arrears paid in the first week of April each year.

The delay has caused severe discontent and apprehension among employees and pensioners. The Confederation requests the Finance Minister’s personal intervention to ensure the declaration/issuance of DA/DR orders at the earliest.
