Subject: Inviting Nomination of 1 Officer for Training Programme on "AI Champions for Digital Transformation" to be held from 01 June to 05 June, 2026 at LBSNAA, Mussoorie - reg.

This is with reference to communication No. N- 21/48/2025- NeGD dated 06.05.2026 (copy enclosed) received from the Chief Operating Officer, NeGD, MeitY, regarding a specialised training programme titled "AI Champions for Digital Transformation", being organised in collaboration with Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie.

The programme is designed to equip senior government officers with the understanding and vision required to harness Artificial Intelligence (AI) for improving governance and service delivery. It aims to build institutional readiness and develop a cohort of officers who can act as AI champions in the Department.
The details of the program are as follows:

Title	AI Champions for Digital Transformation
Dates & Venue	01 – 05 June, 2026, LBSNAA, Mussoorie
Target Participants	Officers at the level of Joint Secretary, Director or equivalent who are either leading or responsible for implementation of AI in digital governance projects.

In view of the above, it is requested to forward the nomination of suitable officers in the prescribed format (copy enclosed) who meet the eligibility criteria and are involved in AI-related initiatives within the Department, for participation in the said training programme. The nominations may kindly be sent to the Training Division by 17 May 2026 to facilitate timely submission to NeGD.
