PPF & SSA Deposit Limits – Maximum ₹1.5 Lakh Per Year

PPF Accounts: As per Rule 4(2) of the PPF Scheme, 2019, the maximum deposit limit of ₹1,50,000 per financial year applies collectively to deposits made in an individual’s own account and any account opened on behalf of a minor.

SSA Accounts: As per Rule 124(2) and Rule 125 of the POSB CBS Manual, subsequent deposits in a Sukanya Samriddhi Account (SSA) are permitted up to ₹1,50,000 per financial year. 

👉 This means ₹1.5 lakh per SSA account / per girl child.
