Inclusion of Postal Engineering Wing Staff in Dak Bhawan Establishment Strength

OFFICE ORDER

Subject: Inclusion of Subordinate staff of Chief Engineer (Civil)-I, Chief Engineer (Civil)-II, Chief Engineer (Electrical) and Sr. Architect within the regular Establishment strength of Dak Bhawan.

Approval of competent authority is hereby conveyed for inclusion of Subordinate staff of Chief Engineer (Civil)-I, Chief Engineer (Civil)-II, Chief Engineer (Electrical) and Sr. Architect within the regular Establishment strength of Dak Bhawan.

2. The following conditions shall apply:

i. The Pay and Allowances and personal claims of officers posted in Postal Engineering Wing of DoP HQ will be drawn from DoP HQ for which HOA designated for DoP HQ will be used.

ii. Budgetary requirements for the same is to be met from the available funds of DoP HQ and budget division will facilitate subsequent allocation at RE stage.

iii. The DDO mapping shall be done w.e.f. 01.08.2026 so that the salary and all personal claim will be regulated from 01.08.2026 onwards.

iv. The personal claims shall be sanctioned by the respective offices of Postal Engineering Wing stationed at Dak Bhawan and the sanctioned copy along with vouchers will be send to Section Officer (C&A), Dak Bhawan for payment.

v. The Chief Engineers shall continue to be HoD for the staff under their control of Postal Engineering Wing stationed at Dak Bhawan.

vi. No payment of personal claims shall be entertained by DDO O/o EE(C), PCD, New Delhi and DDO O/o EE(E), PED, New Delhi after 31st July, 2026 in respect of staff of Postal Engineering Wing stationed at Dak Bhawan with respective Chief Engineers.

3. There shall be no further addition to the existing sanctioned strength of 66 posts. The list of 66 posts along with employee ID of Postal Engineering Wing stationed at Dak Bhawan in respective offices of Chief Engineer and Sr. Architect in Group A, Group B and Group C are taken in the Establishment of Dak Bhawan w.e.f. 01.08.2026 and is enclosed as Attachment-I.

4.This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
