In pursuance of Postal Directorate letters regarding recruitment of Meritorious Sports Persons in the Department of Posts for the cadres of:
- Postal Assistant (PA)
- Sorting Assistant (SA)
- Postman (PM)
- Mail Guard (MG)
the Tamil Nadu Circle has issued the provisional allocation/selection list of candidates.
The memo contains:
- Candidate registration numbers
- Names of selected candidates
- Date of birth
- Sports category/event
- Community category
- Vacancy year
- Division/Unit allotted
Important Conditions Mentioned
- Selection is purely provisional.
- Original certificates and sports credentials must be verified by the appointing authority.
- Eligibility conditions prescribed by the Department must be fulfilled.
- Candidates are required to produce all relevant original documents at the time of appointment.
- If any discrepancy, false information, or ineligibility is found later, the candidature is liable to be cancelled.
- Appointment is subject to verification of educational qualification, age, community certificate, sports certificate, character and antecedents, medical fitness, etc.
- The result is subject to any court case or administrative revision.

- General Manager, CEPT, Bengaluru for uploading on the Departmental website.
- Postmasters General of various Regions.
