Opening of Extended Window for Rule‑3 Verification/Withhold — Department of Posts Notification (01.07.2026)

 

Sir/Madam,

As it is aware that as per the Rule-3 schedule, issued vide letter dated 21.05.2026, the following activities are completed as of now (20.06.2026 to 25.06.2026):

• Verification of Rule-3 transfer requests by Divisions.
• Reset verification of transfer requests by Circle on need basis.
• Marking the posts as withheld by Circle - Rule-3 transfer (Roster).

However, a number of references received from a few circles regarding reversion of verification status, withholding of the post etc. Therefore, It has been decided to open the window for Verification/Withhold till 5 P.M. tomorrow (01.07.2026). Circles are requested to take necessary action, if any, within the extended window, as no further extension will be given.

CEPT (@POTNURU RAKESH PRAVEEN) is requested to take necessary action and the result generation activity may be put on hold till the time window is opened.
