  • CEPT Mysuru requested clarifications via email (12.08.2026).
  • Approved workflows enclosed as Annexure-A and format of DPS Approval/Rejection Letter as Annexure-B.
  • CEPT instructed to implement changes by 01.09.2026.

📄 Annexure-A: Workflow Clarifications

  • Case Classification Rules (System + CCE Members):
  • Relaxed Criteria – Applicants not meeting minimum educational qualification (10th pass with English & Math).
  • Includes uneducated/below 10th, or lacking English/Math.
  • Local language requirement: if not studied up to 10th, CCE/AD may classify as Relaxed.
  • Such applicants will only see Dak Sevak posts.
  • Quote: “Cases not meeting the prescribed educational qualification may be classified as Relaxed Criteria.”
  • Earning Member Case – Applicant/dependent has income > 0. (Agreed)
  • Missing GDS/Employee Case – Registration type marked “Missing”. (Agreed)
  • Belated Case – Applications after 2 years from death/eligibility or declaration of missing GDS.
  • Also applies to dependents of departmental employees.
  • For medical discharge/retirement, dependents must apply within 2 years.
  • Rejected Case – Cases once rejected but reconsidered by DG/HOC/Court.
  • Reconsider Case – Change of person approved by HOC. (Agreed)
  • Redirected Case – Cases marked “Consider for Next CCE”. (Agreed)
  • Fresh Case – All other cases considered for the first time. (Agreed)
  • One-Time Relaxation – Registered under special scheme. (Agreed)

Other Workflow Clarifications:

  • Sub-Division ID validation removed for offices/divisions without sub-divisions (RMS/IDC/NDC).
Post Allocation Logic:
  • If preference given → system follows rules.
  • If no preference → allot vacant post in deceased’s office.
  • If not vacant → allot any vacant post in division. (Agreed)
  • Reverting Cases from DPS to Division – Allowed only for clarifications/additional documents. No editing after DPS stage. (Agreed)
  • Moving cases from AD to DPS – Cases should move immediately after AD verification, not wait for window closure. (Agreed)
  • DPS Approval/Rejection Letter – Standardized format attached (Annexure-B). Available in Division & applicant login.
  • Departmental Employees in CO/RO/PAO (non-GDS) – HOC may nominate multiple divisions for processing.
  • Representation vs Reconsideration – Different processes. Representation is against rejection (para 21 guidelines); HOC will direct reconsideration if satisfied.
