Directorate of Postal Life Insurance Subject: Implementation of Staggered Shifts for Workload Optimization Date: 25.08.2026
- Due to surge in processing proposals and service requests in PLI-CPCs, multiple sessions are straining system performance and causing workflow congestion.
- To address this, the competent authority has decided to implement staggered shift allocations (Annexure attached).
- Objective: optimize work distribution, enhance efficiency, and balance workload across Circles during peak business periods.
- Backend operations in CPCs will follow staggered shifts starting 27.08.2026.
- Circles must ensure strict implementation of shift allocations. Feedback on operational challenges may be communicated for refinement.
