UIDAI Notification – Name Update to Be Done Only on Universal Client (UC)

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has issued an official notification to all Registrars and Enrolment Agencies regarding Aadhaar name update procedures.

UIDAI announced that the name update feature will soon be removed from ECMP, and operators must henceforth use only the Universal Client (UC) for all name update transactions.
