OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Submission of reimbursement claims through the Self-Service Portal of APT IT 2.0 – regarding.

In view of the recent updates in the APT IT 2.0 Payroll Module, all Officers/Officials of the Department of Posts are hereby informed that applications for reimbursement of the following allowances/claims are required to be initiated through the Self-Service Portal of APT IT 2.0:

• Telephone Reimbursement;
• Children Education Allowance (CEA);
• Newspaper Allowance; and
• Other reimbursement claims for which the facility is available under the Self-Service Portal.

The officers/officials can submit the above claims by navigating through the following menu in APT IT 2.0:

Self-Service Portal → Employee Payment System → Pay Reimbursement

The claims shall be submitted along with the requisite supporting documents and other details, as applicable, in accordance with the prescribed rules and instructions. In addition to submission of the claims through the Self-Service Portal, a copy of the bill, along with the requisite supporting documents, shall also be forwarded to the concerned authority as per the existing procedure. The applicants shall ensure the correctness and completeness of the information furnished before submitting their claims for further processing.

All concerned administrative and controlling authorities shall ensure that the necessary employee mapping and other requisite details are updated in the system to facilitate the smooth processing of reimbursement claims.

All officers/officials are requested to take note of the above instructions and ensure strict compliance.
