Supersedes: Previous orders dated 27.02.1985, 19.05.1995, 29.09.1995, 19.08.2019, and 28.12.2020.

1. Mandatory Components & Marks Allocation:

2. Evaluation Criteria:
- UPSC Marks: Full credit of actual marks (out of 2025).
- Foundation Course: Marks added as per LBSNAA guidelines.
Departmental Examination:
- 6 Papers (100 marks each; pass marks: 50% per paper and aggregate).
- Hindi Exam (Qualifying): 50 marks each (Oral & Written); must pass (25/50) but not counted for seniority.
- Computer Skills Exam: Theory (20 marks) + Practical (30 marks); pass marks: 50% in each.
- Project Report: 25 marks (assigned by RAKNPA).
3. Attempt Rules for Seniority:
- 1st Attempt: Full marks counted.
- 2nd Attempt: 75% of marks counted.
- 3rd Attempt: 50% of marks counted.
- 4th+ Attempt: Zero marks counted.
- Absenteeism: Zero marks for missed papers.
4. Additional Provisions:
- Foundation Course: Mandatory; non-repeatable if service changes.
- Syllabus: As prescribed by Postal Directorate’s Training Division.
- Pass Criteria: 50% per paper, 50% aggregate; 60% for exemptions.
