Subject: Phase-out of existing L0 fingerprint registered devices from Aadhaar authentication ecosystem

Sir/Madam,

Reference is drawn to UIDAI letter no. HQ-13021/1/2021-Auth-I HQ (Comp. No-16262), dated 25.03.2025 regarding "Phase out of L0 fingerprint registered devices from Aadhaar authentication ecosystem".

2. As per the phased sunset plan of L0 fingerprint devices outlined in the annexure of the above referred letter, the following updates are to be noted:

a) Following two Registered L0 Fingerprint device models (at S. no. 11 to 12 of Annexure-A), will be hot listed by UIDAI on 01.06.2025

(i) MFS100 (M/s. Mantra Softech (India) Pvt Ltd)

(ii) FM220U (M/s. Access Computech Pvt. Ltd)

b) Further twenty Registered L0 Fingerprint device models (at S. no. 13 to 32 of Annexure-A), will be hot listed by UIDAI on 01.07.2025.

3. All requesting entities are once again reminded of the phase out of L0 fingerprint registered devices as detailed above. It is advised to take all required needful measures for avoiding any disruption of services and ensure compliance with UIDAI's directives.
