Subject: Implementation of provision for capturing “Date of Application” in CCE Portal under APT 2.0- reg.
References are received from some Circles regarding the processing of compassionate engagement cases in the CCE Online Portal, particularly where age eligibility is affected due to the gap between submission of a manual application for compassionate engagement and applicant registration in the CCE portal.
The matter has been examined in light of para-6 Note-1 of Compassionate engagement Scheme-2023, and it has been approved that for determining age eligibility, date of application (to determine the age of the applicant) will be the date of registration of the applicant's details in the CCE portal by the Sub Division Head or the date of manual application submitted by the applicant, whichever is earlier.
Accordingly, CEPT is requested to incorporate the provision at the Sub Divisional level for capturing “Date of Application” (including manual date and application uploading) in the system before rollout to APT 2.0, including cases registered under "One-time relaxation Scheme".
Necessary safeguards may also be built into the system to prevent misuse or incorrect data entry.
This may be treated on a priority and implemented before the rollout of the CCE Portal in APT 2.0.
