CORRIGENDUM

Sub: Competitive Examination for recruitment to the cadre of Postman, Mail Guard and Multi- Tasking Staff from eligible Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDSs) for the vacancies earmarked for GDS and unfilled vacancies of LDCE for Postman/Mail Guard for the vacancy year 2026 (01.01.2026 to 31.12.2026)- reg.

In pursuance of Directorate letters F. No. 03- 03/2019- SPN- I (Pt. I) dated 11.06.2026 and F. No. DE- 12/3/2026- DE- DOP dated 12.06.2026, the service eligibility condition prescribed in this office notification of even number dated 01.06.2026 on the subject cited above for recruitment to the posts of Postman and Mail Guard is hereby revised as follows:

"Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) with four years of regular service as on the crucial date, i.e. 01.01.2026."

All other entries in the notification shall hold good.

This notification may be given wide publicity amongst all eligible candidates working in Circle/Regional Office/Divisions/Units.

This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
