Subject: Shifting of Nodal operations related to Jan Suraksha Schemes (JSS) to CPRC, Chennai w.e.f. 01.09.2025 - Reg.

Sir/Madam,

Centralized Processing and Reconciliation Centre (CPRC), Chennai was established to handle all nodal operations related to POSB operations and accordingly nodal operations are shifted in phased manner. CPRC is now handling the following nodal activities.

(i) Processing of cases for posting Back Value Date Transactions in Finacle (ii) Reporting of Financial Transactions to Income Tax Department (iii) Internet Banking and Mobile Banking Operations (iv) NEFT/RTGS operations except settlement and reconciliation (v) ATM Operations including ATM Card Supply and Management

In accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Standard Accounting Procedure circulated in respect of Jan Suraksha Schemes (JSS) namely Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY), Sansad Marg HO is functioning as the Nodal Office for performing JSS Nodal Operations such as processing of subscriptions/contributions, handling of claims/voluntary exit, accounting, grievance handling, etc.

It is now proposed to shift all the nodal operations related to JSS from Sansad Marg HO to CPRC, Chennai. Accordingly, CPRC, Chennai will act as Nodal Office for all the Jan Suraksha Schemes (JSS) w.e.f. 01.09.2025. Hence, all the claims / voluntary exit, grievances etc related to JSS will be handled at CPRC.

A separate email ID dopjss.tn@indiapost.gov.in is created for the said purpose. Circles may use this email ID for the issues related to JSS.

Due to the shifting of nodal operations and accounting, changes in the office accounts in Finacle, the enrolment of new subscribers under JSS will not be available for a day on 30.08.2025.

It is requested that this may be circulated to all the sub-ordinate offices for information and guidance.
