On Sunday 28.06.26, APT will not be available from 0600 to 1200 hrs for scheduled drills

1. DC/DR drill has been planned on 28.06.2026 0600 AM to 1100 AM..
2. APT operations may not be working well during that time.
3. Offices which are functioning round the clock like NSH, Speed counters in important POs may be informed about this.
4. A control room may be set up at Regional level on 28.06.2026 and the information about the restoration of services in APT, in the Mail offices / Post offices functioning on Sundays may be confirmed when asked for. 
5. The AD/ ASP/IP Technology of Regions will please co-ordinate with the concerned Divisions, compile the information on 28.06.2026 and share with CO..

Subject: Setting up of Control Room on 28.06.2026 from 0600 Hrs to 1200 Hrs

It is informed that CEPT/HEP/NGC will undertake a Test DC- DR Drill involving limited cluster failover/failback, backup restoration, and Point- in- Time Recovery (PITR) validation on 28.06.2026 from 0600 Hrs to 1200 Hrs.

To ensure smooth operations and effective coordination at the Directorate level during the aforesaid activity, a Control Room shall be set up in PMU on 28.06.2026 from 0600 Hrs to 1200 Hrs for coordination with CEPT and Circles.

Following officials of PMU/Technology Division are hereby requested to attend the office on 28.06.2026, as per the following schedule:
